Idea Development
To begin with It was important for us to undestand and address who this website was for and what problems it had to solve. Through the presentation of this problem it was clear we had to begin with User/Job Stories. These where vital in helping me decide what information to display and how to display it.
User stories are something I've only recently started doing, but I’ve found this an invaluable process.
Sketching & Research
Sketching was an important part of this task as I already had the content from a previous project creating a portfolio to learn HTML. This meant that I was able to design for content. Based on my previous website and my user stories I knew that I wanted my work to be easily found and accessed. Knowing this I did some research into other websites and began to do some wireframe blocks in Figma to work out the general shapes they were playing with.
Through my experimentation with wire frames and my research I had identified that I enjoy a black and white colour scheme this also matches with my brand guidelines. My brand guidelines are something I have to take into consideration.
A more indepth look into my brand guidelines can be seen in the Brand case study.
Iterations
I went through many iterations throughout the actaul development of the website. This was due to me learning html and css throughout the process.
Conclusion
This project was a fun learning experience with what I would consider a mediocre end result. However, the process taught me a lot about what I need to improve on and what I need to do more of, at a higher standard.

Throughout the project I lacked planning. This meant that I was under a lot of time pressure and didn't move on fast enough to the more important and time demanding tasks. This also caused me to spend a small amount of time on sketching and idea development which gave me a lack of direction when coding the website.
